Itinerary for day excursion

Departing Edinburgh at 8am by land rover and arriving at a sporting estate at 10am. Equipment and instruction for beginners is provided. Target practice takes place before shooting and stalking. Most rivers and lochs operate a catch and release system for salmon fishing. Two to three hours are spent hunting, shooting or fishing and an excellent picnic lunch is provided at around 1pm. Activities continue after lunch until about 4pm to 6pm. Returning to Edinburgh between 6pm and 8pm.

Itinerary for overnight excursion

For stalking roe deer it is an early start at first light (around 4.30am) and continues until 11.30am. Excellent picnic breakfast at around 8am. An over night stay is required. Accommodation is at a National Trust property and dinner is included. Equipment and instruction for beginners is provided and target practice takes place before setting off. Leaving Edinburgh at 4pm the day before and returning at 1pm.
